We simply care more. On the other hand, someone might say: “But I don’t need better care, I just want a deck“ or “ But I just want these stairs replaced.” Those are common statements, and understandable. The following are just some of the reasons why we at BBA Decks emphasize that we care more:

   Money doesn’t grow on trees. When you

   spend your money on a deck, you 

   shouldn't have to fix it shortly thereafter.

   For example, imagine  having a building 

   inspector tell your contractor that 5 or 6 

   items have failed inspection, and he must  

   return and fix these before it can pass.

   What does that say about the 

   contractor‘s work? Could there be more 

   things wrong that even a well trained  

   inspector could have missed, possibly   
  because of deception or dishonestly?

   Or what about  just fixing a simple step? 

   Well, are you going to find fault  with it 

   shortly down the road?  Yes you were 

   able to go in and out of your home for a 

   while, but then one day within a year or so 

   you found yourself stressing about that 

   same step once again.
  

   The two above examples happen, and 

   cost you more money and time. There is 

   a problematic mentality among construction

   companies who come and build a nice home from    

  the ground  up, or maybe just build a good wood 

   frame for the home, but when it comes to the deck

   they say “Oh I still have to build the deck, 

   but that’s just the deck”.  The “just the deck” mentality 

   causes you stress and frustration. It has lead to 

   BBA Decks being contacted soon after a deck was 

   built , rather then even calling the original contractor 

   to fix it.
